Iran Alamkouh Ascend

Alam-Kūh Mount ( Alamkooh) – is a mountain in the Alborz mountain range in the north of Iran, Mazandaran Province, forming a peak of the Takht-e Suleyman Massif. It is located in the Kelardasht District of the Mazandaran Province of Iran. With an elevation of 4,848 meters it is the second highest peak in Iran behind Mount Damavand.
The 800 m high, steep granite north face provides some of the most difficult and interesting mountaineering routes in the country and the climbs rank alongside major climbing routes in the European Alps.
DAY 1.Tehran
Arrival Tehran, greetings at airport, transfer to hotel, O/N
DAY 2.Tehran / Roodbarak
Drive to Roodbarak via Chalous road, sightseeing of Roodbarak.O/N (local house) .
DAY 3. Roodbarak / Sar Chal
Drive to Vandarbone by local vehicle start trekking from Goosfandsara to Sar chal (3850m).O/N Sar Chal (shelter /tent) .
DAY 4. Sar Chal / Alam Chal / Takhte Soleyman Peak
Early morning start Ascending Takhte soleyman peak (4659m) descending Alam Chal (4170 m) O/N Alam chal camp (tent) .
DAY 5. Alam Chal –Alam kouh- Sar Chal
Ascending Alam Kouh peak (4850 m) via siah sang (4650m), descending Sar Chal, O/N Sarchal (shelter/tent)
DAY 6. Sar Chal / Roodbarak
Descending Roodbarak and reset. O/N
DAY 7. Roodbarak / Tehran
Sightseeing of Abasabad forest and Caspian seaside then drive to Tehran .Transfer to airport for departure flight to your country.
Notes:
1. It is worth-mentioning that ascending Alam kouh seriously depends on the person’s physical & mental readiness & his/her mountaineering background according to factors affecting human being physical system like: high elevation and quick climate changes. Thus technical manager of the program grades the participants according to the information about their physical status, their mountaineering background & evaluating their abilities during climbing in high elevation from vandarbone to the Alam chal , meaning that all participants will certainly climb up to the Alam chal, but then it depends on the grades that technical manager considers them .
2. Those intending to ascend the Alam Kouh are emphatically suggested to first climb one the high peaks around Tehran.
3. Announced program is to be changed according to climatic condition & other environmental factors.
4. For your own & your co-travelers comfort each person is allowed to bring just a load of almost 15 Kg.
