DAY 1. Tehran
Arrival Tehran, Meet and assist, Transfer to hotel, O/N
DAY 2. Tehran
Full day sightseeing of tehran visiting National museum , Golestan palace and carpet and jewels museums – O/N
DAY 3. Tehran – Shiraz
Early morning transfer to Airport – fly to Shiraz – visit Nasir mosque , Saadi and Hafiz (Famous poems in 13 Century) monuments , visit Karimkhani Citadel – Eram Garden – vakil bazar – O/N
DAY 4. Shiraz– Isfahan
Early morning excursion to Persepolis to visit the glorious ruins of Achamenians – visit Naghshe Rostam and Passargade then drive to Isfahan – O/N
DAY 5. Isfahan
After breakfast visit Naqshe jahan square , imam and sheikh lotfollah mosques then Aliqapo palace and evening free time for shopping at isfahan bazaar .O/N
DAY 6. Isfahan – Tehran
After breakfast visit Vank church , jame mosque and old bridges of isfahan at night fly tehran – O/N
DAY 7. Tehran – Baghdad
Morning fly tehran Transfer to international airport fly to baghdad , Arrival Baghdad. Hotel transfer. Late afternoon excursion to Kings Royal tombs. followed by Khadamain Mosque and Shrine. Overnight Baghdad.
DAY 8. Baghdad
Baghdad City Tour and environs: National Museum, Copper Souk,Mirjan, Mosque, Mustansiriya School, Afternoon visit to Agargouf Kassite Ziggurat.
DAY 9. Baghdad – Samarra – Masul
Early start with drive to Samarra for Minaret and Abbasid Palace . Then on to Tikrit, once home to Saddam and to Mosul overnight.
DAY 10. Masul
Another full day . Travel to outskirts of Mosul, look at the site of Nineveh, Nebis Yunis. If time. then Khorsabad Overnight in Area.
DAY 11. Mosul – Baghdad
Turning back south we visit the Monastery of Mar Benham, then ancient Nimrud before overnight in Baghdad.
DAY 12. Baghdad
A full day in Baghdad and a visit to the Arch of Ctesiphon. Overnight in Baghdad.
DAY 13. Baghdad – Karbala
We travel to the ancient cities of Mesopotamia, Kish , once home to Sargon, Babylon and then Borsippa . Overnight in Kerbala, the Shrine city.
DAY 14. Karbala – Samawah
We drive to ancient Nippur famous for its 4,000 B.C. Temple of Enlil then to Warka (Ancient Uruk) one of the most important sites in Iraq. Now being excavated again. Overnight in Samawah.
DAY 15. Samawah – Baghdad
Depart for Baghdad Transfer to airport and depart Iraq.
