Day 01: Arrival at Tehran

Arrival at Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport, meet and assist. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Tehran.


Day 02. Tehran

City tour of Tehran. Today, we visit the Saad Abad Palace, a royal summer residence nestled in the foothills of the Alborz Mountains, where we explore the elegant White and Green Palaces. Later, we visit Niyavaran Palace, the refined last residence of Iran’s last monarch, including the richly decorated Sahebqaraniye, and Ahmad Shahi Pavilion. We continue to the lively and colorful Tajrish traditional bazaar, then enjoy a stroll through the scenic mountain village of Darband in the north of Tehran. Overnight in Tehran.


Day 03. Tehran

We continue our city tour of Tehran with a visit to Golestan Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its dazzling mirror halls and gardens. Next, we explore the bustling Tehran Grand Bazaar and the nearby Imam Mosque, a Qajar-era masterpiece. We proceed to the Iran National Museum, home to ancient Persian treasures, followed by the breathtaking Iran National Jewelry Museum, displaying a stunning collection of royal gems. We end the day at the Azadi Tower, Tehran’s iconic symbol of modernity. Overnight in Tehran.


Day 04. Tehran – Kashan – Abyaneh – Isfahan

Drive to Isfahan, en route we visit the charming oasis town of Kashan, where we explore the lush Fin Garden, an example of classic Persian garden design, and the beautifully decorated Boroujerdies House, a masterpiece of traditional residential architecture. We then continue to the ancient red-clay village of Abyaneh, rich in history and tradition, before proceeding to Isfahan. Overnight in Isfahan.


Day 05. Isfahan

City tour of Isfahan. We begin with a visit to Chehel Sotun Palace, known for its mirror hall and royal frescoes. We continue to Imam Square (Naqsh-e Jahan Square), a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s grandest squares. Here, we visit the elevated Ali Qapu Palace with its music hall, the majestic Imam Mosque with its stunning blue tiles, and the exquisite Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, renowned for its intricate dome. After lunch, we explore the vibrant Isfahan Grand Bazaar and browse the exquisite Persian carpet shops inside the historic Qeysariye Bazaar. Overnight in Isfahan.


Day 06. Isfahan – Yazd

In the early morning, we visit the Vank Cathedral in the Armenian quarter, showcasing a fusion of Persian and Christian art, and the historic Friday Mosque of Isfahan, known for its evolving architecture. We then drive to Yazd, stopping en route at the Naein Friday Mosque, an early Islamic relic, the ancient Narin Fortress, and the eco-friendly Pigeon House in Maybod, once used for agricultural purposes. Overnight in Yazd.


Day 07. Yazd

City tour of Yazd. We begin at Dowlatabad Garden, home to the tallest wind tower in Iran, followed by a visit to the Water Museum, which reveals the ancient qanat water system. We explore the atmospheric old district of Fahadan with its mudbrick alleys, visit the twin-minaret Friday Mosque, and browse local goods in the Yazd Bazaar. We also stop at the Seyed Roknoddin Mausoleum and the striking Amir Chakhmaq complex, famous for its symmetrical façade. In the evening, we experience a session of Zoorkhaneh, a traditional Iranian gym blending sport with ritual. Overnight in Yazd.


Day 08. Yazd / Shiraz

In the morning, we visit the Dakhmeh (Towers of Silence), a Zoroastrian sky burial site, and the Zoroastrian Fire Temple, where a sacred flame has been burning for centuries. We then drive to Shiraz, stop to see the ancient 4,500-year-old cypress tree in Abarkouh. Along the way, we visit Pasargadae, the simple yet powerful tomb of Cyrus the Great, the rock-carved royal tombs at Naghsh-e-Rostam, and finally the majestic ruins of Persepolis, the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Empire. Overnight in Shiraz.


Day 09. Shiraz

City tour of Shiraz. We start at the Karimkhani Citadel, a Zand-era fortress with thick walls and a tranquil courtyard, then visit the lush Eram Garden, famed for its floral beauty and cypress trees. We explore the Vakil Mosque and its nearby bazaar, both showcasing 18th-century elegance. We then marvel at the vibrant stained glass of Nasir al-Molk Mosque, also known as the Pink Mosque. Finally, we tribute Iran’s beloved poets at the tombs of Hafez and Sa’adi, peaceful sites filled with literary inspiration. Overnight in Shiraz.


 

Day 10. Departure

Transfer to Shiraz International Airport for departure.
